Promotion & Gift/Voucher Policy

Please note that any loyalty discounts or promotional discounts are valid Monday – Friday only unless otherwise specified. Only one discount or promotional voucher is able to be redeemed per appointment or transaction.

All gift vouchers, offers or discounts have a specified expiry date which should be noted by the recipient, as extensions to this expiration date cannot be made. It is the responsibility of the client to present the voucher or discount at the time of their appointment in order to redeem. Vouchers cannot be exchanged or transferred to another person or redeemed for cash.

Appointment deposit policy

For all appointments 45 minutes and over we require a deposit. For 45 minute appointments the deposit fee is $50, for appointments over $45 it is $100. This deposit will be deducted from the final fee following the client’s hair service. If a cancellation or change is made within 24 hours of the appointment this deposit will be forfeited. This deposit will also be forfeited in ‘no show’ circumstances. In some circumstances, clients may be required to pay the full appointment fee upfront, the same rules apply if a client cancels or reschedules within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment.

Christmas Gift Voucher Packages Policy

Our Christmas Gift Vouchers with bonus gifts are available during November and December only and are available strictly while stocks last. The gift voucher included in this package has a set validity period which should be noted upon purchase. The validity of Christmas Gift Vouchers is from the first day of trade after Christmas Day of the year of purchase through to the final day of November of the following year.

As these voucher packages are a promotional offer, unfortunately, no extensions can be given to expiry dates and no refunds or exchanges can be made. Vouchers cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

Valid on hairdressing services only. Not valid with packages or with any other offer.

Competition Policy

• The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

• Competitions are open to residents of Western Australia aged 16 years or over except employees of Maurice Meade and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

• Winners will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter

• Prizes must be collected by the winner in any of our nine Maurice Meade salon locations

• Winners will be notified by email and/or DM via Facebook/ Instagram within 28 days of the closing date

• Promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram

• Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Security Policy

To ensure your credit card details are processed securely, we use the Fat Zebra payment gateway and 256-bit SSL encryption. Fat Zebra are Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant, which guarantees that your information is protected with the highest possible levels of data security.

Your payment details will not be stored locally in either the database or site files.

Privacy Policy


Maurice Meade are committed to protecting your personal information. We will not sell, distribute or lease your information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.

• Your contact information including e-mail address, phone number and postal address

• Your demographic information such as postcode, date of birth

• Your colour history & information regarding the condition of your hair

• Your service history

• Other information relevant to customer surveys and competitions

The above information is collected in order to provide a high level of service to our clients, which is particularly relevant for all information collected about your colour and condition of your hair.

We may also use this information for promotional purposes to send you information about special offers, new products and other news that you may find interesting.

Please note that if at any time you wish to opt out of receiving promotional mail, e-mails or SMS, you can do so via an “unsubscribe” link or send us an email at admin@mauricemeade.com.au.

Returns & Refunds Policy


It is of our highest priority to ensure that you are satisfied with your Maurice Meade experience, and leave our salons looking and feeling your best. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the service you have been provided at Maurice Meade, please either contact the salon you visited directly, or contact head office at admin@mauricemeade.com.au.

If there is something not quite right with your cut or colour, we request the opportunity to correct this for you free of charge. We kindly ask that any cut or colour corrections be completed within 10 days. Please note that if you have visited another salon or attempted to correct your hair yourself before returning to a Maurice Meade salon, we may not be able to offer a cut or colour correction.

Due care and skill is always provided in order to deliver exceptional service in all Maurice Meade salons, and we generally do not provide refunds on services.


If for any reason you are unhappy with a product you have purchased at a Maurice Meade salon, please contact us to exchange the item within 14 days. Please note that we do not offer refunds or exchanges on items due to a change of mind, or if they have been opened or used (except if item is faulty).

If you receive an item that you believe it damaged or faulty, please return to the salon where you made your purchase to receive an exchange within 14 days.

Electronic items such as styling tools may need to be replaced or repaired directly through the manufacturer.

Any item or product given as a gift with purchase (including bonus gifts provided with our gift voucher packages) is unable to be returned or exchanged, unless the item is damaged or faulty on arrival. If this occurs, please return to the salon where you made your purchase, or contact admin@mauricemeade.com.au for any online purchases.

We do not provide refunds on gift voucher purchases.

Online Purchase Policy

All online purchases have the same returns and refunds policy as our in salon retail products. Clients must return products at their own cost and must first contact our office prior to posting any items back.

There are 3 options for receiving your purchased product/’s. 

  1. Collection from chosen salon. You must specify which salon you would like to collect your product from in your purchase order, if you don’t we will contact you via the provided contact details. If these details are incorrect we will do our best to get in contact with you. The salon will hold your chosen product for 3 days, if you do not collect within this time period we cannot guarantee the stock will be available within the salon and you may have to wait until a new order arrives.

  2. Delivery to premises ‘paid. We will post your purchase using Australia 
    Post standard postage parcel. We will provide you with a tracking number on the parcel. We cannot guarantee postage times nor where they will leave the parcel. We will do our best to assist you with shipping concerns but inquiries may be directed to Australia post.

  3. Free Shipping – Free shipping is made available to those who spend over a certain amount, however certain products may be excluded if delivery is specialised. Free shipping may be implemented, taken down or changed at any point under Maurice Meade’s discretion. Free shipping must be selected at the checkout by the purchaser. If you do not select free shipping Maurice Meade will not refund you for shipping. 

At-home colour agreement

Due to the recent global outbreak of Covid-19 many of our clients are unable or unwilling to come into our salons for hair appointments. 

To help them at this time and to continue to function as a business we may make their tailored home colour available to select clients. 

The colour will be mixed using your last colour history from the salon, client must have had a colour applied within a Maurice Meade salon within the last 6-8 weeks for this service to be used. It is only valid for base colour, grey coverage or root clients, it is not valid for lightening services. If a client is unsure as to whether this service is applicable for them they must contact and check with their usual salon first. If the client is not a candidate Maurice Meade has the right to refuse service and product. The clients colour history and measurements is the intellectual property of Maurice Meade and cannot be released to the client under any circumstances unless mandated so by a court of Law. 

The client will be called to book an appointment to either a) Collect from the salon or b) have it delivered to your home. The colour will be premixed by your hairdresser however it must be applied within an hour of mixing. Please be ready upon delivery/ collection to apply the colour at home. 

Because we are not able to oversee the application of the colour we cannot be held responsible for the outcome. By purchasing you agree to the following. 

You agree and acknowledge that you have listened and understood ALL colour instructions Maurice Meade has has given you. This includes processing time (how long to leave the colour on your hair) and the removal of colour.

You agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Maurice Meade will not be reasonable or liable (whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise), under any circumstances, for any (a) damage; (b) breakage; (c) unfortunate colour; (d) undesired outcome; or (e) stains on clothing, private premises, possessions or skin.

You understand and agree that this is an extraordinary circumstance and your service will not be what you usually or expect to receive. You also acknowledge and agree that despite this you will pay a pre-determined fee and that refunds will not be accepted. 

Beauty appointment policy

During peak times we may take a deposit to secure your beauty appointment at our Me by Maurice Meade Salons in Claremont and Morley. 
This deposit will go towards the payment of your service on the day. 

This deposit is non-refundable. 

We require all clients to be on time for their appointments, failure to do so may risk the loss of their appointment and deposit. 

If you cannot attend your appointment we request that you inform our team members a minimum 24 hours prior to your appointment time. 

Our Beauty Therapists have the right to refuse service if they believe the service is unsuitable or unsafe to perform. 


When booking online or via the Maurice Meade app you agree to the full terms and conditions given to you at the time of booking. 

These terms and conditions include the possibility of a fee being charged against your credit/ debit card if you fail to show for your appointment OR cancel within 24 hours of your booked appointment.

The deposit charged will depend on the length of the appointment and it may be up to $100. 

Healthy Hair Campaign Terms and Conditions

T’s and C’s
The healthy hair campaign commences on the 20/8/20 and ends 8/10/20,  this limited-time offer gives clients a $50 voucher to use when purchasing 3 or more select Kerastase retail products, or 2 Kerastase products and a basin treatment. This voucher is only applicable on select Kerastase products unless otherwise advised.
It is not applicable with any other offer or discount. It cannot be used for other services and cannot be redeemed or cash. There will be no extensions made on this voucher. 

This voucher is only available for clients purchasing products within Maurice Meade salons. 
Clients must present the voucher at the time of sale (screenshot, print out, webpage or email) Maurice Meade staff will not be held responsible if the client fails to mention the voucher. Purchased products cannot be refunded for change of mind. 

Clients are also able to redeem a free Kerastase Camera diagnosis consultation. Staff will advise clients on the products they believe will best suit their scalp and hair type.

In the case of more serious scalp or hair conditions, it is important to note that Maurice Meade staff are not medical professionals and clients cannot rely on Maurice Meade staff advice for medical scalp conditions. We advise clients to speak to a healthcare professional prior to using any products. 

In the case of a product reaction, Maurice Meade will need to contact Kerastase directly with a report of the reaction prior to performing any refunds or exchanges.
